RCS Symphony Orchestra
Baldur Brönnimann returns to RCS to conduct the first Symphony Orchestra concert of the year.

To celebrate 150 years since Maurice Ravel’s birth, the orchestra performs one the impressionist composers works, a tribute to the waltz, La Valse.
Prokofiev’s Symphony No.5 completes the programme, written after a significant break from writing the symphonic form, a work described by the composer himself as “a hymn to free and happy man, to his mighty powers, his pure and noble spirit”.
